The Vancouver Warriors are happy to present, Stick to School. This is a free 1-hour program where Vancouver Warriors players will be going into schools around the lower mainland and presenting to an assembly of students from grades K-7. This program will include both an educational and fitness component to it.
Our program leaders will present a PowerPoint presentation on who the Vancouver Warriors are, the history of lacrosse, its Indigenous connection, the first people’s perspective of learning and the rules of the game. We will then follow with the fitness component where our players will engage with the students and teach them the fundamentals of lacrosse through fun drills/games.
We will be gifting each school kids tickets to the 24.25 Vancouver Warriors season and the opportunity to win kids lacrosse sticks and balls!
