Vancouver Warriors Sign Keegan Bal and Richard Lachlan

Vancouver, BC (September 24, 2018) – Vancouver Warriors General Manager Dan Richardson announced today that the club has signed forwards Keegan Bal and Richard Lachlan.

Bal, 26, split the 2017 season between Vancouver and Colorado. He collected 16 points (2-14-16) in eight games played. He has appeared in 11 career NLL games, collecting 28 points (6-22-28).

Bal also played three seasons with the St. Albert Miners (Senior B), collecting 62 points (23-39-62) in nine regular season games and 43 points (14-29-43) in six playoff games last season. In 2016, Bal was named as tournament MVP with 26 points (12-24-26) in five games for the three-time President Cup winners, the St. Albert Miners (Senior ‘B’).

The Coquitlam, BC native was originally selected in the third round, 25th overall in the 2013 NLL Entry Draft.

Lachlan, 27, appeared in 16 games for the Sr. Miners, registering 103 points (51-52-103) in 2017. He also collected 33 points (23-10-33) in six playoff games en route to his third consecutive Sr. B Presidents’ Cup National Championship.
