Warriors select Adam Charalambides 4th overall in 2021 NLL Entry Draft

Warriors make six selections overall

VANCOUVER BC – The Vancouver Warriors have today added to their depth, selecting six draft picks at the 2021 NLL Entry Draft, held virtually across North America.

Among the six selections was Vancouver’s #4 overall selection, left handed forward Adam Charalambides. Charalambides, 25, is 6-2, 195 pounds from Georgetown, Ontario. Charalambides played his college lacrosse at Rutgers and his box lacrosse with Orangeville, helping the Northmen to the 2016 Minto Cup Final.

At Rutgers, Charalambides scored 149 goals in just 50 games, and is 3rd all time in Rutgers single season history with 47 goals in 2019.

“We are very pleased that Adam fell to us at #4,” comments Warriors GM Dan Richardson. “he can do pretty much anything offensively, sees the floor well, he is a natural goal scorer and we cannot wait to see what he can do with us in Vancouver.”

– 4th Round (51 overall) D- Owen Pryblski (Villanova – Blue Star)
– 5th Round (66 overall) F- William Clayton (Denver – Victoria Shamrocks WLA)
– 6th Round (80 overall) D- Aidan Danby (Delta Jr. Islanders)
