Warriors Select 9 Players at the 2022 NLL Entry Draft

TORONTO, ON – The Vancouver Warriors selected a total of nine players at the 2022 NLL Entry Draft on September 10, including first round third overall pick Owen Grant from Delaware University and Toronto Junior Beaches.

Grant is 6’3, 205 pounds from Newmarket, Ontario will complete his final year at with the Delaware Hens this upcoming season.

“Owen is a big defender with great speed and good size, with an aggressive edge to him that will punish opposing players,” comments Head Coach Troy Cordingley.

“When Owen joins us in the future he will provide us with depth on our left side,” adds General Manager Dan Richardson.  “When you can run out a talent like Owen Grant along with Reid Bowering, it gives us a great opportunity to have success in shutting down the opposition.”

The Warriors also selected Forward Marcus Klarich 32nd overall (second round), Defenceman Aidan Solomon 46th (third round), Goalie Chase Cosgrove 52nd (third round), Forward Henry Follows 61st (fourth round), Defenceman Trent Kellner 63rd (fourth round), Defenceman Brian Robb 77th (fifth round), Forward Drew Kask 85th (fifth round), and Forward Hunter Vines 92nd (sixth round).
