Warriors announce FREE BEER on Opening Night

Vancouver, B.C. – The Vancouver Warriors announced free beer today! Now that we have your attention, we also announced a bunch of other fun theme nights that will have fans smiling, including a beach party, a dodge ball tournament, a mechanical bull, a country music concert, and a post-game carnival on the turf. OPENING NIGHT – Friday, November 29 – 7:00 PM

VANCOUVER WARRIORS VS CALGARY ROUGHNECKS

The Warriors kick off their second season at Rogers Arena with a tilt against the defending NLL champion Calgary Roughnecks. The night will be full of excitement and giveaways and the team gets rolling for season number two.

• A complimentary Budweiser or Bud Light for everyone from 6pm to 7pm. Free non-alcoholic options will be available as well.
• Happy hour pricing from 6pm to the end of first quarter, including $5 beer. There’s also $3 popcorn and $4 hotdogs.
• The first 2,000 fans get a free Warriors toque.
• Face painting on the concourse.
• Lots of free stuff. Lots of giveaways. You’ll leave with your hands full!

SUPERHERO NIGHT Presented by Alterna Bank – Saturday, December 14 – 7:00 PM

VANCOUVER WARRIORS VS NEW YORK RIPTIDE

This game will be a tribute to the true superheroes among us – our amazing first responders, including the brave women and men from our local Police, Fire, and Paramedic teams.

• The first 3,000 fans will receive a Matt Beers bobblehead!
• 200 Vancouver Warriors superhero capes will be given away to kids at the game.
• Vintage fire trucks will be on display and the Vancouver fire brass band will be performing.
• Fans are encouraged to dress up as their favourite superhero!

SUNDAY FUNDAY – Sunday, December 29 – 1:00 PM

VANCOUVER WARRIORS VS SAN DIEGO SEALS

What could be better than watching some LAX on a Sunday afternoon at Rogers Arena. This matinee will feature two west coast rivals and should be a great early season test for the home side.

• Bring the noise with complimentary thunder sticks provided by Cavendish Farms.
• Wear your Warriors or minor lacrosse jersey! Kids under 15 wearing a jersey get complimentary popcorn.
• Bud Zone will be converted into NFL Tailgate Central complete with oversized foosball and mini basketball. Catch all your favourite football action while enjoying the fastest game on turf!
• Face painters and balloon artists will be on hand to make the game even more memorable for kids, and there will be a strong focus on youth lacrosse.
• Scavenger hunt throughout the arena for great Warriors prizes!
• Season ticket members will have the chance to enjoy a post-game carnival on the turf.
• Special feature on Emily Goss and her courageous fight.

BEACH PARTY Presented by Corona – Friday, January 17 – 7:30 PM

VANCOUVER WARRIORS VS COLORADO MAMMOTH

Can’t find time for a trip to Mexico this winter? Well, join the Warriors for their Beach Party night and sip on a Corona while you watch Logan Schuss and the boys battle the Mammoth. Please note the updated game time of 7:30 PM!

• Enjoy special offerings including $5 Corona during Happy Hour.
• One lucky fan in attendance will win a trip for two to Mexico!
• Hawaiian shirts and flip flops are strongly encouraged.

• A throwback-themed atmosphere with retro-inspired in-game activities and lots of 90s/2000s music!
• Rumour has it a certain 90s Bad Girl may make an appearance with the Warriors Dance Crew…

Grab your cowboy hat, cowboy boots and don’t forget to wear plaid! Ride your horse on down to Rogers Arena to watch the hometown Warriors take on those southern boys, the Georgia Swarm.
