Vancouver – The Vancouver Warriors, in partnership with Marvel and the National Lacrosse League, are excited to announce a new, multi-year partnership promoting lacrosse’s origin story. This new program will feature current NLL stars in custom comic books, with each team hosting a Marvel Super Hero™ game.

“The Vancouver Warriors are proud help tell lacrosse’s legendary origin story,” said Michael Doyle, President, Canucks Sports and Entertainment, Business Operations. “This partnership will raise the awareness of one of North America’s fastest and most exciting sports and Canada’s official summer sport with a history rooted in our indigenous communities.”

As a part of the partnership, the Vancouver Warriors will be hosting a Marvel Super Hero™ game on February 10, 2024. One of the key highlights of the night will be a custom Marvel comic book, available for fans, featuring Keegan Bal on the cover, among many other activations throughout the evening.

“I am honoured and excited to be the Warriors player chosen to be animated in this new Marvel partnership,” said Keegan Bal, forward, Vancouver Warriors. “This partnership gives us as players a great opportunity to connect with our fans in a completely new and unique way.
