Bandits Topple Warriors 15-8

VANCOUVER BC – The Buffalo Bandits scored five unanswered goals to end the second quarter and never looked back, winning their fifth consecutive game and handing the Vancouver Warriors their first loss in three games, beating Vancouver 15-8.

Warriors forward Mitch Jones continued his strong play scoring three times on the night, including a short handed penalty shot goal, to give him 20 goals on the season.  Jordan McBride and Riley Loewen each added a pair of goals for Vancouver, while Lyndon Bunio added his first NLL goal as well.

With the loss, the Warriors fall to 3-5 on the season.

Vancouver continues their busy week with a cross country flight tomorrow, followed by a Sunday matinee versus the expansion Rochester Knighthawks.  Game time from upstate New York will be at 11 AM PST.  The Warriors next home game will be on Saturday, February 29th, when Vancouver takes on the Georgia Swarm.  The Warriors will celebrate Country Night, so dust off the boots and get your two-step ready.  Game time is at 7 PM.
