Warriors Fall to Roughnecks 14-5

VANCOUVER BC – The Calgary Roughnecks came out firing, scoring the first six goals of the game on their way to a 14-5 victory over the Vancouver Warriors on Friday night at Rogers Arena.

Vancouver had goals from Mitch Jones, Riley Loewen, Adam Charalambides, Logan Schuss and Matt Delmonico scoring his first NLL goal in the defeat.

Christian Del Bianco was excellent between the pipes for Calgary, turning aside 48 shots to improve the Roughnecks record to 2-0.

The Warriors will next play on Saturday, January 7 when they hit the road for a game against division rivals, the San Diego Seals. Vancouver returns home on Saturday January 14 when they face the expansion Las Vegas Desert Dogs. It’s College Night at Rogers Arena and all of the action gets started at 7 PM.
