Seals slide past Warriors

- San Diego 16 Vancouver 9

VANCOUVER BC – The San Diego Seals showed why they are a favorite to contend for the NLL Championship this season, scoring five second quarter goals on their way to a 16-9 victory over the Vancouver Warriors before 8583 rambunctious St. Patrick’s Day revelers at Rogers Arena.

Kyle Killen led all Vancouver scorers with a first half hat trick, while Keegan Bal topped the score sheet, scoring twice and adding three assists. Chase Scanlan added three in defeat while Armstrong BC’s Owen Barker also scored for the Warriors.

The game also marked the long awaited debut of TIMBR the Party Sasquatch. The Warriors mascot danced his way into the hearts of his new fans early and often, pumping up the crowd with his megawatt smile and dance moves.

The Vancouver Warriors will next be home on Saturday, March 25th when they host the Colorado Mammoth and bring in Spring with their annual Country Night Extravaganza, featuring two time Juno Award Winners, Tim and the Glory Boys! Game time is at 7 PM.
