Matt Hossack

Hossack was selected by the Saskatchewan Rush with the 14^th overall selection in the 2016 NLL Entry Draft and was acquired by PCLC in the Expansion Draft. In Saskatchewan, Hossack was a member of the 2018 Rush team that won the NLL Champions Cup. For PCLC, Hossack set career highs in loose balls (117) and caused turnovers (25) during the 2021-2022 season.

Hossack played Jr. A for the Whitby Warriors, where he was a member of the 2013 Minto Cup winning team. Hossack played collegiately at Rochester Institute of Technology where he was a Mechanical Engineering major. At RIT, Hossack was a two time USILA Long Stick Midfielder of the Year, two-time First Team All-American and two-time Liberty League Defensive Player of the Year.

Hossack was named the Captain of PCLC in 2022. Hossack’s brother, Graeme, currently plays for the Halifax Thunderbirds.
