Hossack was selected by the Saskatchewan Rush with the 14th overall selection in the 2016 NLL Entry Draft and was acquired by PCLC in the Expansion Draft. In Saskatchewan, Hossack was a member of the 2018 Rush team that won the NLL Champions Cup. For PCLC, Hossack set career highs in loose balls (117) and caused turnovers (25) during the 2021-2022 season.

Hossack played Jr. A for the Whitby Warriors, where he was a member of the 2013 Minto Cup winning team. Hossack played collegiately at Rochester Institute of Technology where he was a Mechanical Engineering major. At RIT, Hossack was a two time USILA Long Stick Midfielder of the Year, two-time First Team All-American and two-time Liberty League Defensive Player of the Year.

Hossack was named the Captain of PCLC in 2022. Hossack’s brother, Graeme, currently plays for the Halifax Thunderbirds.
